Fantasy Prediction: Churchill Brothers vs Mumbai City FC Fantasy Team Prediction
Churchill Brothers play their first ever ISL game tonight, at home in Fatorda. They got into the league by taking over the Jamshedpur FC licence in August. Mumbai City start a new chapter too, with Manolo Marquez now in charge. Here are our fantasy tips, probable lineups and picks.
Recent Form
Churchill Brothers: No recent competitive games. Churchill did not play in the 2025-26 I League. Their last full season was the 2024-25 I League, where they finished top with 40 points, but the title later went to Inter Kashi after a CAS appeal. This squad is mostly new, and it had only four weeks of preseason (37 training sessions).

- 21 May 2026: Punjab FC 0-2 Mumbai City (W)
- 15 May 2026: Mohammedan SC 0-4 Mumbai City (W)
- 5 May 2026: Mumbai City 1-2 East Bengal (L)
- 25 April 2026: Bengaluru FC 0-0 Mumbai City (D)
- 18 April 2026: FC Goa 2-0 Mumbai City (L)
Mumbai finished third last season with 25 points and ended with two clean sheet wins in a row.

Top Fantasy Picks
- Wilmar Jordan Gil (Mumbai City, forward): 11 goals and 4 assists for Immigration FC in Malaysia last season. He has 26 ISL goals across three seasons. He will lead the line.
- Brandon Fernandes (Mumbai City, midfielder): Scored in the 4-0 win over Mohammedan on 15 May. He takes the corners and free kicks, so he gets chances to create.
- Akash Mishra (Mumbai City, defender): Assist for Valpuia’s goal against Punjab on 21 May, and two clean sheets in Mumbai’s last two games. He also set up a goal for India against Panama.
- Valpuia (Mumbai City, defender): Scored the opener against Punjab on 21 May. Clean sheet points plus attacking runs from right back.
- Noufal PN (Mumbai City, forward): An assist in each of Mumbai’s last two games, for Brandon against Mohammedan and for Vikram Partap against Punjab.
- Wayde Lekay (Churchill Brothers, forward): Scored 11 goals in 20 games in his last spell at Churchill. He did not score in 7 games for Siwelele last season, so this is a pick with some risk.
- Sebastian Gutierrez (Churchill Brothers, midfielder): Two goals for Dempo in the 2025-26 I League. He is Churchill’s set piece taker.

Match Prediction
Churchill will have the home crowd and a big night behind them. But their squad is new and had only four weeks of preseason. Mumbai have more ISL experience all over the pitch, and Marquez knows Indian football very well. Churchill can score through Lekay or a Gutierrez set piece, but Mumbai should have enough. Our prediction: Churchill Brothers 1-2 Mumbai City FC.
