Date: Tuesday, 27 October 2026
Time: 12:15 PM IST (12:30 PM local time)
Venue: Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur

Recent Form
This is the first game of NPL 2026 for both teams. In NPL 2025, Biratnagar won two of their last five games and Chitwan won one of their last five.
Points Table
This is the first game for both teams, so they are on zero points.
BK vs CWR Head To Head
The teams have won one game each in their last two meetings. Chitwan won by a big margin in NPL 2025 (174/5 vs 126 all out). Biratnagar won in NPL 2024 (181/5 vs 130/6).
BK vs CWR Squads
Biratnagar Kings: Sandeep Lamichhane (C), Lokesh Bam (WK), Dilsad Ali, Sujan Thapaliya, Andre Russell, Charith Asalanka, Angelo Mathews, Shubham Ranjane, Basir Ahamad, Narayan Joshi, Pratish GC, Rupesh Singh, Naren Saud, Pratik Shrestha, Imran Sheikh, Subash Bhandari, Aprajit Poudel
Chitwan Rhinos: Kushal Malla (C), Arjun Saud (WK), Dev Khanal, Deepak Bohara, Bipin Rawal, Ravi Bopara, Usama Mir, Bibek Yadav, Salauddin Khan, Rijan Dhakal, Ranjeet Kumar, Kamal Singh Airee, Mousom Dhakal, Ashok Dhami, Gautam KC, Sikandar Raza, Kaleem Sana
Team news: Sikandar Raza is captaining Zimbabwe in a T20I against Afghanistan in Sharjah on the same day, so he will miss this game. Kaleem Sana is listed with Toronto Kings in Global T20 Canada, which runs until early November. Kamil Mishara is also linked to Chitwan, but he is with Sri Lanka in Pakistan. Squad lists for this season differ between sources, so check the toss.
Pitch Report
Kirtipur is a small ground at high altitude, so the ball travels well. Crex shows fast bowlers taking 54% of the wickets in the last 10 games here, with spinners close behind.
For fantasy, pick power hitters like Andre Russell and spinners like Sandeep Lamichhane. The noon start means the pitch should be at its best for batting early. Around 165 looks like a good total.
Weather Report
It will be partly cloudy in Kirtipur, around 20°C, with almost no chance of rain.
Probable Playing XIs
Biratnagar Kings: Lokesh Bam (wk), Charith Asalanka, Rupesh Singh, Angelo Mathews, Andre Russell, Shubham Ranjane, Basir Ahamad, Pratish GC, Sandeep Lamichhane (c), Naren Saud, Imran Sheikh
Chitwan Rhinos: Dev Khanal, Kushal Malla (c), Arjun Saud (wk), Ravi Bopara, Bipin Rawal, Kamal Singh Airee, Mousom Dhakal, Usama Mir, Gautam KC, Bibek Yadav, Ranjeet Kumar
This is the first game of the season, so these XIs are our best guess from the squads. Teams can only play a limited number of overseas players. Final XIs come at the toss.
