You have until July 15 to sort your balances. After that date the platforms are gone.
What Happens to Your Money and Credits
Jumbo explained exactly what happens to each type of balance before shutdown:
Diamonds — automatically converted to Cherry Credits. You do not need to do anything. Use them on Cherry before July 15.
Digital Gold — you need to sell it yourself on Novo. The deadline is July 15. Log into Novo and sell your digital gold now. After July 15 you cannot sell it.
Game Tokens — these become null and void. They cannot be redeemed, transferred or converted. If you have game tokens they are worth nothing after July 15.
Shopping Credits — use them on Cherry to shop before July 15. After that date the platform closes and you cannot use them.
The most urgent action is selling your Digital Gold on Novo before July 15. Everything else happens automatically or can be used up before the deadline. But Digital Gold requires you to actively log in and sell.
Why Is Jumbo Shutting Down
The official reason given is regulatory uncertainty. This refers to the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act 2026 — known as PROGA 2026 — which came into force on May 1 2026 and banned real money fantasy and gaming contests across India.
Jumbo is not the only platform affected. Several smaller online gaming and fantasy platforms have struggled to operate under the new rules. PROGA 2026 changed the legal environment significantly and platforms that relied on paid contests as their main revenue model have found it very difficult to continue operating.
Jumbo’s shutdown affects not just the main Jumbo platform but also Cherry and Novo which were connected products. All three close on July 15 2026.

What Should Jumbo Fantasy App Users Do Now:
Three things to do immediately if you are a Jumbo Fantasy App user.
Log into your Jumbo Fantasy App account and check all four balance types — Diamonds, Digital Gold, Game Tokens and Shopping Credits.
Sell your Digital Gold on Novo before July 15. This is the only balance that requires your active action on the Jumbo Fantasy App. Everything else happens automatically or can be spent before the deadline.
Use your Shopping Credits on Cherry before July 15. After that date the platform connected to Jumbo Fantasy App closes and unused credits are gone.
Game Tokens on the Jumbo Fantasy App cannot be redeemed or transferred. Accept that loss and move on.

Is PROGA 2026 Affecting Other Fantasy Apps
Jumbo is not the first platform to shut down after PROGA 2026 came into force on May 1 2026. The law banned real money fantasy contests across India and several smaller gaming platforms have stopped operating since then.
The five apps that continue to operate legally in India — Daba Fantasy, Web11, FantasyWala, Fantasy Adda and Calc11 — all do so by offering free contests only for Indian users.
